The largest bulb cultivation area in the world
The Netherlands have had many centuries of experience in growing and selling flowering bulbs. The Anna Paulowna polder in the province of North-Holland, where CG van den Berg & Zn is located, has a light sandy soil available, which is extremely suitable for growing flowering bulbs.


Unique daffodil assortment
Together with two other partners we try to gather a unique assortment of daffodils, which we get from the well-known American daffodil grower, Brent Heath. These varieties are lodged in the coöperative growers society, Spectrum.

Regarding to hyacinths CG van den Berg & Zn also tries to gather an own assortment, by buying seedlings from hybridizers.

C.G. van den Berg & Zn has acquired a unique position in the tulip market by creating new varieties with special characteristics, such as flowers with good keeping qualities and a large range of shapes and colours. With these new varieties we try to meet the requirements of the modern consumer.
